Hi! I am Terry Askevold. I am 56 years old and the owner of Trader’s Bar & Grill and Trader’s Campground. This is a family run business that has been in operation for 20 years.
I grew up in Melrose Park, IL and am a Navy Veteran. I spent 15 years as a floor broker and order filler at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). I was trading in the S&P pit with index commodities and packers trading.
I have three beautiful daughters. Lauren is 26 years old and is a graduate from UW Milwaukee and has a career in Athletic Training. Krystal is 25 years old and is the manager and runs Trader’s on a day to day basis. Rose is 17 years old and is going to be a senior this coming Fall at River Valley High School. She is very active in competitive sports and also works at Trader’s.
