We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
What information is being collected?
When you view our website, we sometimes collect personal information to provide you with the products or services that you are seeking. For example, when you are looking to purchase a product or service from us, we may ask you for personal information such as name, billing address, phone numbers, credit card information, or other payment related data [see Security]. Our website may provide links to other websites within it, whose privacy policies and practices may vary from those of Trader’s Bar & Grill. If you deliver any personal information to those websites, that information will be governed by their respective privacy policies.
How is this information being used?
The information that our servers collect is used to either provide you with the products or services that you have requested, or to better your experience while on our website. Trader’s Bar & Grill will retain your information as necessary to fully comply with all legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Who can see the data that is being collected?
The data that is collected by our website is solely for the use of Trader’s Bar & Grill. We will not share any of your information with outside companies or agencies, other than as necessary to complete your request or order.
Can I control what information you use?
Yes. At any point, if you have questions about what information is being used, when it is being used, how it is being used, or would like to have us delete or update information for you, please feel free to contact us via email or phone.
How do I know that the information is secure?
We understand that you’re concerned about the security and privacy of your online transactions. This is why we use a High-grade Encryption SSL to ensure that your valuable data, such as credit card details, are encrypted when you interact with our site. We employ state-of-the-art data encryption to ensure safe and secure transactions to our site. Your computer and ours agree to transpose whatever we are sending into an unintelligible “hash” of characters, using a technology called SSL. Only our server and your client computer know how to “decrypt” the characters going back and forth, so your information is safe as you type into the system. Further, your information is encrypted when stored on our servers, so your information is secure at all times.
What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the security technology for encrypting a link between a web server and a browser. All data passed between our web server and your browser remains private and secure. Whenever you communicate with us on our payment pages, a small padlock appears in the address bar of the browser and the protocol portion of the address changes from http:// to https://. The “s” stands for Secure. (Some browsers hide the protocol and use symbols other than a padlock, but there will be a visual representation of the secure connection). Our SSL certificates are issued by a leading certificate authority, Comodo Security. In order for Comodo to issue the SSL, we needed to prove we are who we said we are and are in control of our own domain. This is another way in which you can feel secure.
